Probably due to not having a monitor it took me another hour before I had figured out that the default user "pi" with password "raspberry" is mentioned all over the place, but it is not provided anymore. So I access it via VNC (first had to activate SSH to be able to activate VNC server). I lost an hour or so because my RPi refuses to connect to my monitor.I encountered two issues that have nothing to do with Domoticz: I followed your suggestion and (finally) got myself a RPi 4B (with USB2.0 hub as I have an older Z-Stick Gen5 for OpenZWave USB). Can anyone shed a light ? Many many thanks in advance ! Type: 1, Msg: Cannot Find Configuration Files, File: /spksrc/spk/domoticz/xxxxxxxxx/openzwave-/cpp/src/Options.cpp (Line 90) OpenZWave.cpp:894".īut that directory doesn't even exist on my DS, neither do I find "options.cpp" nor "openzwave.cpp" anywhere on the disk. In the Domoticz log file I see the same error message as in the start of this thread: "Error: OpenZWave: Exception. Uninstalled and reinstalled Domoticz from Synocommunity but did not load my Domoticz backup (trying to set up from scratch). The Z-Stick is shown in the Hardware section as tied to /dev/ttyACM0 but cannot be accessed. Running in Docker is not an option on a DS116 so I reverted to the Domoticz package 2020.2 from SynoCommunity and loaded my Domoticz backup. Result: DSM shows the Z-Stick in the Control Panel > Info. So I got into Putty, modprobed and chmodded as mentioned previously in this thread (usbserial / ftdi_sio / csc-acm / cp210x.ko) (I thought) I was prepared as I knew USB drivers were no longer automatically installed in DSM7. I knew I'd had to upgrade from 6.2 to 7 one day anyway so this is the day. Put a new one in after which automatically DSM7 got installed. Domoticz version from running happily for years. Synology DS116 (One disk only as I arrange data backups with two other remote DS.) Hmm similar problem here but after a full day of reading forums/fiddling around still not working for me.
